Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 4 cups cubed bread
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and top with celery, onion, and mushrooms.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine bread, chicken broth, dried sage, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Pour the bread mixture over the chicken and vegetables in the slow cooker.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and the dressing is hot and bubbly.

  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
