Instructions

  1. Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Add the scallops to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Cook the scallops for 2-3 minutes per side, until they are nicely browned and cooked through.

  6. Squeeze the lemon juice over the scallops and toss to coat.

  7. Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish with chopped parsley.

  8. Serve the sautéed scallops hot with your favorite side dish.
