Ingredients

  • 200g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the prawns, mango, spring onions, gram flour, turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the prawns and mango with the flour mixture.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer.

  3. Drop spoonfuls of the prawn and mango mixture into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel.

  4. Serve the pakoras hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
