How To Make Pan-Seared Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the salmon fillets with a paper towel and sprinkle with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Place the salmon fillets, skin-side down, in the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.

  4. Flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until cooked through.

  5. Remove from the skillet and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon fillets.

  6. Serve hot with your preferred side of vegetables.
