  • 4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper.

  2. Dredge each cod fillet in the flour mixture, coating both sides evenly.

  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Add the cod fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Transfer the cooked cod to a serving plate and garnish with lemon slices.

  6. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
