How To Make Easy Pan-Fried Cod

- 4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 lemon, sliced
Instructions

In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper.

Dredge each cod fillet in the flour mixture, coating both sides evenly.

Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the cod fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
