How To Make Double-smoked fish cakes

Ingredients
- 1 lb of double-smoked fish fillets, flaked
- 1 cup of mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup of bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the flaked fish, mashed potatoes, chopped onion, parsley, bread crumbs, beaten egg, salt, and pepper.

Using your hands, shape the mixture into patties.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the fish cakes until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
