  • 1 lb gnocchi
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz smoked trout, flaked
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  3. Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until lightly golden.

  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.

  5. Stir in the flaked smoked trout and fresh dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, until the trout is heated through.

  7. Serve the creamy gnocchi with smoked trout and dill hot, garnished with extra dill if desired.
