How To Make Creamed Salmon on Toast Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 can of salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices and set aside.

  2. In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.

  4. Add the flaked salmon to the pan, and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Pour in the heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper.

  6. Simmer the mixture for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

  7. Place each toast on a plate and spoon the creamy salmon mixture over them.

  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
