Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Working with one shrimp at a time, make a shallow cut down the back of each shrimp to butterfly it, ensuring not to cut all the way through.

  4. Place the butterflied shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 5 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.

  5. Serve the butterflied shrimp hot with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
