How To Make Moroccan Spiced Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a large bowl, toss the carrots with olive oil, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, ginger, paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated.

  3. Spread the carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet.

  4. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and lightly browned, stirring once halfway through.

  5. Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving dish.

  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
