Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 4 French rolls, split
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced pickles
  • Remoulade sauce

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.

  3. Dredge shrimp in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

  4. Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.

  5. Remove shrimp from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  6. Spread remoulade sauce on the inside of each French roll.

  7. Layer lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickles, and fried shrimp on the rolls.

  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
