A delicious twist on the classic Caesar salad, this sandwich features juicy chicken, crisp lettuce, and a tangy dressing.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup of Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup of shaved Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Brush the bread slices with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly toasted.

  4. In a large pan, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat.

  5. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and cook for 6-8 minutes per side until cooked through.

  6. Slice the chicken into thin strips.

  7. Wash and dry the romaine lettuce and tear it into small pieces.

  8. To assemble the sandwich, lay the lettuce on top of the bread slices.

  9. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the lettuce and then top with the chicken.

  10. Garnish with the Parmesan cheese and serve.
