Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread
- 8 oz (225g) of Gruyère cheese, thinly sliced
- 8 slices of prosciutto
- 16 fresh sage leaves
- 4 tbsp (56g) of unsalted butter, softened
Instructions

Preheat a panini press or a large skillet over medium heat.

Lay out the slices of bread and divide the Gruyère cheese evenly on 4 slices of bread.

Top the cheese with 2 slices of prosciutto and 4 sage leaves on each slice.

Place the remaining bread slices on top to form sandwiches.

Spread butter on the outside of each sandwich.

Place the sandwiches in the panini press or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted.

Remove from heat and allow to cool for a minute before slicing.
