How To Make Potato, Bacon & Gruyère Toastie

Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread
- 4 small potatoes, boiled and sliced
- 8 strips of bacon, cooked until crispy
- 1 cup of grated gruyère cheese
- 2 tbsp of butter, softened
Instructions

Preheat a sandwich press or grill pan.

Butter one side of each slice of bread.

Place 4 slices of bread on a cutting board, buttered side down.

Top each slice with a layer of sliced potatoes.

Add 2 strips of bacon on top of the potatoes on each slice.

Sprinkle grated gruyère cheese over the bacon.

Place the remaining slices of bread on top, buttered side up.

Place the sandwiches in the sandwich press or grill pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and golden and the cheese is melted.

Carefully remove the sandwiches from the press or pan and let them cool for a minute or two before serving.

Cut each sandwich in half and serve hot.
