Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of prosciutto
  • 16 fresh sage leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  3. Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of prosciutto, securing with toothpicks if needed.

  4. Thread 4 sage leaves onto each skewer, alternating with the prosciutto-wrapped chicken.

  5. Brush the chicken skewers with olive oil on both sides.

  6. Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the prosciutto is crispy.

  7. In a separate pan, heat the remaining olive oil over medium-high heat.

  8. Add the remaining sage leaves and fry for about 30 seconds, until crispy.

  9. Remove the chicken skewers from the grill and top each skewer with a few fried sage leaves.

  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
