How To Make Wilted Lettuce Salad

Ingredients
- 8 cups of torn lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a large bowl, place the torn lettuce leaves.

In a skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside.

In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, add the red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined and heated through.

Immediately pour the warm bacon vinaigrette over the lettuce leaves and toss to coat evenly.

Top the salad with the crispy bacon.

Serve the wilted lettuce salad immediately.
