How To Make Tabbouleh Salad

Ingredients
- 1 cup bulgur
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Place the bulgur in a heatproof bowl and pour boiling water over it. Cover and let it sit for 10 minutes until the bulgur absorbs all the water.

Fluff the bulgur with a fork and let it cool.

In a large bowl, combine the cooled bulgur, parsley, mint, green onions, tomatoes, and cucumber.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.

Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

Serve the tabbouleh salad chilled or at room temperature.
