Ingredients

  • 1 cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and grated carrots.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots mixture, and toss until everything is evenly coated.

  4. Transfer the slaw into individual airtight freezer bags or containers, and seal tightly.

  5. Place the bags or containers in the freezer, and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  6. When ready to serve, remove from the freezer and let thaw in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.

  7. Give the slaw a good toss before serving. Enjoy!
