How To Make Classic Pasta Salad

This refreshing pasta salad is perfect for summer gatherings or an easy weekday lunch.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fusilli pasta
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.

  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, red onion, black olives, and fresh basil.

  3. Add parmesan cheese and Italian dressing. Toss until well combined.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
