Ingredients

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until the mixture has reduced to a thick syrup consistency, about 8-10 minutes. Set aside to cool.

  2. Arrange tomato slices, mozzarella slices, and basil leaves on a serving platter.

  3. Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the salad.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
