How To Make Thai Beef Salad Recipe
Refreshing and zesty salad packed with tender beef slices, fresh herbs, and spices.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 400g beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 1 head of lettuce, washed and chopped
- 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup of fresh cilantro leaves, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup of chopped scallions
- 1/4 cup of chopped shallots
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp of rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp of fish sauce
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of honey
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp of cooking oil
Instructions

In a bowl, mix rice vinegar, fish sauce, soy sauce, honey, and lime juice. Set aside.

Heat oil in a pan over high heat. Sear beef slices for 2-3 minutes per side or until cooked to your preference. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine lettuce, mint, cilantro, scallions, shallots, onion, and tomatoes.

Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.

Place the sliced beef on top of the salad.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
