Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs side of salmon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.

  4. Brush the spiced olive oil mixture evenly over the salmon, covering all sides.

  5. Roast the salmon in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.

  6. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

  7. Serve the spiced roast side of salmon with fresh lemon wedges, garnished with parsley.
