Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork belly
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 2 pears, peeled and sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).

  3. Remove the pork belly from the skillet and set aside. Place the bay leaves in the skillet and pour in the apple cider. Bring it to a simmer.

  4. Return the pork belly to the skillet and cover it with a lid or foil. Transfer it to the preheated oven and roast for 2 hours.
