How To Make Spaghetti with Fresh Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 12 ounces of spaghetti noodles
- 4 large tomatoes, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the diced tomatoes, salt, sugar, oregano, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes have broken down and formed a sauce.

Add the cooked spaghetti noodles to the skillet and toss to coat them evenly with the tomato sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the noodles are heated through.

Serve the spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce in individual plates or bowls, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
