How To Make Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until onion is translucent.

Add the ground beef to the saucepan and cook until browned.

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Serve the spaghetti sauce over cooked spaghetti noodles.
