How To Make Shrimp Carbonara Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove bacon from skillet and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.

  3. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and garlic. Cook until shrimp turns pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.

  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.

  5. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat with the bacon fat.

  6. Remove skillet from heat and immediately pour in the egg mixture, stirring quickly to evenly coat the spaghetti.

  7. Add the cooked shrimp and crispy bacon to the skillet and toss to combine.

  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
