How To Make Two-Step Carbonara
There’s a reason why pasta is a popular favorite. It’s such a multi-purpose dish that can be enjoyed in a multitude of ways. With so many pasta ideas to choose from, your biggest challenge will be deciding on which pasta recipes to go for!

Ingredients
- 8 ounces of spaghetti
- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.

In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic in the bacon grease for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the garlic and bacon grease. Stir quickly to coat the garlic with the mixture and cook for about 1 minute until slightly thickened.

Add the cooked spaghetti and crispy bacon to the skillet. Toss together until the spaghetti is evenly coated with the sauce.

Serve the carbonara hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
