Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 100g Stilton cheese, crumbled
  • 4 tbsp chutney (any flavor of your choice)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. Trim the crusts off the bread slices and cut into bite-sized squares.

  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to make a roux.

  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens.

  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the Stilton cheese until melted and smooth.

  6. Spread a teaspoon of chutney onto each bread square.

  7. Top with a spoonful of the Stilton cheese mixture.

  8. Place the prepared bites on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbling.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
