Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  4. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to let the flavors meld.

  5. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until well coated in the sauce.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
