Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of potatoes
  • 1 cup of gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes into small pieces. Boil them until they are tender, then drain and let them cool for a few minutes.

  2. Mash the potatoes until there are no lumps left.

  3. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, gluten-free flour, salt, and egg until a soft dough forms.

  4. Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a long rope. Cut each rope into small pieces, about 1 inch in length.

  5. Press each small piece of dough with a fork to create ridges.

  6. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the gnocchi in batches for about 2-3 minutes, or until they float to the surface.

  7. Remove the cooked gnocchi with a slotted spoon and transfer them to a serving dish.

  8. Serve immediately with your favorite sauce or topping.
