Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside on a plate lined with paper towels.

  3. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent and fragrant.

  4. Add the cooked penne pasta, crispy bacon, grated Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and coats the pasta.

  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.

  7. Serve the Bacon and Parmesan Penne Pasta hot, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
