  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Create a well in the center.

  2. Crack the eggs into the well and whisk them lightly with a fork.

  3. Gradually incorporate the flour into the eggs, adding water a little at a time until a dough forms.

  4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.

  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until 1/8 inch thick.

  7. Cut the dough into desired noodle shapes, such as wide or thin strips.

  8. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until tender.

  9. Drain the cooked noodles and serve immediately with your favorite sauce or in a soup.
