How To Make Homemade Beer Battered Chicken Nuggets

  • 2 skinless chicken breast (cut into bite-sized nugget pieces)
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup beer (any kind)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • oil
  1. In a bowl, combine the flour and salt then stir well.
  2. Next, pour in the beer and stir. Pour in the water immediately after and whisk the mixture until it turns smooth.
  3. Add in the egg and whisk well until a batter-like consistency is formed.
  4. After making the batter, prepare a pot heated with oil for deep frying.
  5. Dip the chicken pieces into the batter, making sure that the pieces are well coated.
  6. Slowly lower the pieces into the hot oil and let them fry for 2-5 minutes until they turn golden brown.
  7. Once the pieces are done frying, remove them and let them sit on a paper towel to absorb the extra oil. Repeat this process until all the chicken pieces have been fried.
  8. Finally, plate your chicken nuggets and serve them with a dipping sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
