How To Make Vegetable Fried Rice

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked white rice (preferably leftover)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 medium carrot, diced
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup corn kernels
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and diced onion, sauté until fragrant and onions are translucent.

Add diced carrots, frozen peas, and corn kernels to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and add the cooked rice to the empty space. Break up any clumps with a spatula and toss with the vegetables.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the rice and vegetables, stirring to evenly coat everything.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the rice is heated through and well combined with the vegetables and sauce.

Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the vegetable fried rice hot and garnish with additional chopped green onions, if desired.
