  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, mix together breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.

  2. In another shallow dish, whisk together buttermilk and eggs.

  3. Dip each chicken piece into the flour, then into the buttermilk mixture, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture, making sure to coat well.

  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.

  6. Remove from skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.

  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
