- 500g boneless chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions, garlic, and ginger until golden brown.

Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are lightly browned.

In a separate bowl, mix together cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, vinegar, tomato paste, and salt.

Add this mixture to the pan with chicken and stir well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add enough water to cover the chicken and let it simmer for about 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve hot with steamed rice or naan bread.
