How To Make Crock Pot Brisket

This brisket recipe takes only 5 minutes of prep, and the rest of the work is done by the crock pot. After 8 hours, you get a dish that’s fall-apart tender.

Ingredients

  • 3lbbeef brisket
  • 1envelopedry onion soup mix
  • 2tspgarlic powder
  • 1tbspbrown sugar
  • 12ozHeinz chili sauce,(2 bottles)

Instructions

  1. Place the brisket in the crock pot. Sprinkle the onion soup mix, garlic powder, and brown sugar over the top of the brisket, and massage gently into the meat. Pour the chili sauce over the top, covering the meat completely.

  2. Cook on Low heat for 8 to 10 hours. Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and slice against the grain.

  3. Pour the sauce over the brisket slices to serve.
