Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.

  3. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until thickened, about 4-5 minutes.

  4. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth.

  5. Stir in the buffalo sauce and ranch dressing until well combined.

  6. Add the cooked chicken and cooked macaroni to the skillet, stirring until everything is evenly coated in the cheese sauce.

  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a baking dish.

  8. Bake for 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

  9. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
