How To Make Salmon & Horseradish Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets, skinless and boneless
  • 2 tbsp horseradish sauce
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse the salmon until it is coarsely chopped.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, horseradish sauce, bread crumbs, green onions, garlic, Dijon mustard, dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

  4. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and lightly browned.

  5. Toast the burger buns if desired.

  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a salmon patty on each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, and onion if desired.

  7. Serve the salmon and horseradish burgers with your favorite sides and enjoy!
