How To Make Indian Lamb Cutlets

Ingredients

  • 8 lamb cutlets
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons ginger paste
  • 2 teaspoons garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for grilling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.

  2. Add lamb cutlets to the marinade and coat them thoroughly. Let marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.

  3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates or skillet.

  4. Remove lamb cutlets from marinade and shake off excess. Place on the grill or skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.

  5. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

  6. Serve hot with mint chutney or your favorite dipping sauce.
