How To Make Grilled Mexican Steak Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 steaks (ribeye or skirt steak)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin
  • 2 teaspoons of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • Lime wedges, for serving
  • Cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Rub the steaks with olive oil, then generously season them with the spice mixture.

  4. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness (medium-rare, medium, etc.).

  5. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.

  6. Slice the steaks against the grain and serve with lime wedges and garnish with cilantro.
