Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Tortillas
  • Toppings of choice (salsa, guacamole, sour cream, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder.

  2. Season both sides of the flank steak with salt and pepper, then place it in a plastic bag with the marinade. Let it marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.

  4. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or until desired doneness.

  5. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice into thin strips against the grain.

  6. Serve with tortillas and toppings of choice.
