Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground ham
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground ham, breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup milk, ketchup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and beaten eggs. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.

  3. Transfer the mixture into a greased loaf pan and press it down evenly.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup ketchup. Pour the mixture over the top of the ham loaf.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

  6. Allow the ham loaf to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
