How To Make Pesto Pasta with Sun-Dried Tomatoes
A delicious Italian pasta dish with a homemade pesto sauce and tangy sun-dried tomatoes.

Ingredients
- 1 pound of pasta
- 1/2 cup of basil leaves
- 1/4 cup of pine nuts
- 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup of sun-dried tomatoes
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.

In a blender, puree the basil leaves, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper into a smooth pesto sauce.

Drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

In a large skillet, heat the sun-dried tomatoes with some olive oil for 2-3 minutes.

Add the cooked pasta and pesto sauce to the skillet with the sun-dried tomatoes, stirring well.

If the sauce seems too thick, add some of the reserved pasta water to loosen it up.

Serve hot, garnished with more parmesan cheese and basil leaves.
