How To Make Shepherd’s Pie with Lamb’s Liver

Ingredients
- 500g lamb’s liver, sliced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until softened.

Add the lamb’s liver slices to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides.

Add the carrots, celery, peas, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes, until the liver is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.

Pour the liver mixture into a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes evenly on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the mashed potatoes are golden and crispy.
