- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
-
Turn on the Instant Pot and select the sauté function. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in the dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper.
-
Close the Instant Pot lid and set the pressure valve to seal. Select the manual or pressure cook function and set the timer for 5 minutes.
-
Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
-
Preheat the oven to broil.
-
Transfer the cooked meat and vegetables to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.
-
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes.
-
Place the baking dish under the broiler until the cheese is melted and golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
-
Serve the Instant Pot Shepherd’s Pie hot and enjoy!
