How To Make Lamb Rogan Josh

Ingredients
- 500g lamb, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook until golden brown.

Add garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.

Add lamb pieces and cook until browned on all sides.

In a separate bowl, mix together cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, paprika, and garam masala. Add this spice mixture to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add tomato puree, yogurt, and salt. Stir well to combine. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, or until the lamb is tender.

Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
