How To Make Instant Pot Rogan Josh Recipe

Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 pound of lamb, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon of ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of ghee or oil
Instructions

Press the sauté button on the instant pot and add the ghee or oil.

Once hot, add the lamb, onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the lamb is browned and the onion is softened.

Add the ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well.

Add the tomato paste and water, and stir to combine.

Close the instant pot lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 40 minutes.

Once done, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes before doing a quick release.

Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
