How To Make Lamb Meatballs with Rosemary Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (14 oz)
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, mint, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove meatballs from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, rosemary, sugar, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Return meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

Serve the lamb meatballs with rosemary tomato sauce over cooked pasta or with crusty bread.
