Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp coarsely ground black peppercorns
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, Parmesan cheese, peppercorns, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add milk and melted butter to the same bowl and mix until a dough forms.

  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently until smooth.

  5. Roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter or glass.

  6. Place biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

  7. Serve warm.
